Welcome to LaunchBae ('Platform') the mobile application and digital platform, launched as a internship and hiring platform that connects students and/or job seekers with employers, companies, campus recruiters and/or educational institutions. The Platform is owned and operated by Aiden AI Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 with its principal office at #404, 4th Floor, Gowra Palladium, Raidurg, Telangana, Hyderabad 500081, India ('Company' or 'We' or 'Our' or 'Us'). The Company owns and operates the Platform and the website www.aidenai.com ('Website'). By accessing, using and/or subscribing to the Platform and/or the Website, You agree to the collection and/or use of the Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy ('Policy').

This Privacy Policy is made and hosted in accordance with applicable Indian law and should be read in conjunction with 'Terms and Conditions of Use' of the Platform and/or the Website, as and when available and which are deemed to be incorporated herein by way of reference.

This Policy details the purpose of and method in which the Company collects, stores, uses and disseminates the Personal Information ('Information') from the Users of the Platform and/or Website ('User', 'Users' or 'You'). For the purpose of this Policy, User means any such natural person and/or relevant legal entity, that are competent to contract under the Indian law or the applicable law of the jurisdiction in which they reside and wish to avail the services offered by the Company on its own or through a third party service provider, on this Platform and/or Website. We request you therefore, to thoroughly read and comprehend the Policy prior to consenting to the terms herein and start using, accessing, subscribing and/or availing the services offered through the Platform and/or Website. In the event of any disagreement or in case the Users do not accept the terms of this Policy and/or the Terms and Conditions of Use of this Platform and/or the Website, they should forthwith disengage and exit the Platform and Website.

Notwithstanding anything contained herein or the Terms and Conditions of Use, Company reserves the right to add, update, edit, vary, review or substitute this Policy, with or without any prior notice.

By using or accessing this Platform and/or Website and/or availing the services of the Company, the Users categorically agree to have read and understood this Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use and acknowledge that they shall be bound by the terms of this Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use including to any of their additions, updates, variation, revision and substitution. The Company reserves its right to terminate the services of and/or deny access to any User who does not subscribe to or violates the terms of this Policy and/or the Terms and Conditions of Use.

The Company does not disclose or share any Information, that it collects from the Users with any third parties, other than in accordance with this Policy and the applicable law.

Personal Information You Provide

When You register and use services provided by the Company through the Platform and/or Website, We may collect the following categories of Personal Information, which without limit include:

• Identity Information (Full Name, E-Mail ID, Phone Number, Date of Birth, Gender, Profile Photograph etc.)
• Educational Information (College/University Name, Department and Course, Roll Number and Batch Years, Current Semester/Year of Graduation, CGPA/GPA/Other Academic Performance Metrics/Indicators, 10th and 12th Grade Marks and Board of Education, Educational Qualifications and Certifications etc.)
• Professional Information (Resume/CV and contents thereof, Work Experience History, Skills and Competencies, LinkedIn URL, GitHub Profile URL, Portfolio information including Portfolio Webpage Information, Career Interests and Information, Salary Expectation etc.)
• Location Information (Full Address including Street Address, City, State, Country and Postal Code, Work Location preferences like remote, hybrid or onsite etc.)
• Company Information (Company name and details, Job Designation/title, Company Website, Industry and Company size etc.)

Automatic Information Collection

When You use the services provided by the Company and/or access the Platform and/or Website, the following Information is collected automatically:

• Device and Usage Information (IP Address, Device Type and Operating System, Browser type and Version, App Usage patterns and interactions, Timestamp of Activities etc.)
• Behavioral Data (Job applications submitted, Jobs saved and viewed, Assessment Scores and results, Interview Participation data etc.)

Information from Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features

Our Platform uses Artificial Intelligence to enhance Your experience and derives the following information therefrom:

• Resume parsing: We analyze uploaded resumes to extract and structure information.
• AI Screening: Interview responses may be processed by AI for evaluation.
• Skill Assessments: Test responses are analyzed for scoring and feedback.

Information provided by Users and/or collected by Us on this Platform and/or Website may be used, accessed or disseminated by Us for the following purposes and the Users explicitly consent to the same:

Account Management

• Create and manage Your account
• Verify Your identity and authenticate login
• Send One-time Passwords (OTP) for Secure Access or such other purposes for which OTP may be necessary

Platform Functionality

• Match Users with suitable internship
• Enable companies to search and filter candidate profiles
• Process Job Applications
• Schedule and conduct interviews
• Generate offer letters
• Analytical purposes in anonymous form or as de-identified data

Communication

• Send notifications regarding applications, interviews, offers, etc.
• Provide updates about Platform features and services
• Respond to Your enquiries and support requests

Improvements and Analytics

• Analyze usage patterns to improve services
• Develop new features and functionalities
• Ensure Platform security and prevent fraud

Legal Compliance

• Comply with applicable law and regulations
• Respond to legal requests and to prevent harm and/or abuse

Information collected from Users on this Platform and/or Website forms an essential part of the Company's operational business structure and may be shared/used as described hereinbelow and Users hereby consent to the same.

To Employers

Information pertaining to prospective employees, including but not limited to name, location and educational qualifications will be shared with Employers enrolled with the Platform.

To Prospective Employees/Interns/Educational Institutions

Information pertaining to Employers enrolled on this Platform, including but not limited to Company/Firm information, industry and size of organization, and all such other information metrics obtained from them will be shared with the Users of this Platform.

To Third-Party Service Providers

Information including but not limited to contact details will be shared with Third Party Service Provider(s), retailers, logistics service providers and providers for providing the services to the Users. Information is likely to be exchanged while providing services on this Platform and/or Website. These third parties include Web-hosting service providers of the Company including Amazon Web Services, Open AI, Google Gemini, Artificial Intelligence Service Providers, E-mail Service Providers, and such other third parties, either within or outside India, to provide services as stipulated herein and to improve the User experience of this Platform and/or Website.

Other Associated Services

User Information may also be used for providing (a) assistance, (b) effective search results and links (including listings and paid services) and (c) customer experience/services. The Company assures that any sharing of Information will be in accordance with this Policy.

Information Required by Law

The Company will share Information of the Users, if directed by any judicial or a statutory authority or against receipt of any judicial or statutory order or to comply with applicable law.

The Company will share such Information as is necessary to investigate, prevent or take action against illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violation of this Policy and/or the Terms and Conditions of Use or as required by law.

In the event any that Information to be provided is outside the scope of this Policy, a prior notification and request for consent may be shared with the User(s).

We keep personal data for the purpose it was collected for, and no longer. The period below is set per purpose rather than per account, because the purpose is what justifies keeping the data: when you withdraw one consent, the data that only that purpose justified is removed while the rest of your account carries on unchanged.

Retention by purpose

• Running your candidate account, profile and applications (core_service.candidate) — [PENDING LEGAL] For as long as your account is open, then erased within 30 days of a deletion request, except where a named law requires a stated record to be kept for a stated period.
• Running your hiring account (your own account, not applicant data) (core_service.recruiter) — [PENDING LEGAL] For as long as your account is open, then erased within 30 days of a deletion request; your organisation's audit facts survive with you recorded as a deleted user.
• Running your institution's placement account (core_service.campus_admin) — [PENDING LEGAL] For as long as your institution's account is open, then erased within 30 days of a deletion request.
• Running your interviewer account and the feedback you record (core_service.interviewer) — [PENDING LEGAL] For as long as your account is open, then erased within 30 days of a deletion request.
• Being findable by recruiters searching LaunchBae (visibility_boost) — [PENDING LEGAL] Your profile leaves recruiter search immediately when you turn this off. A copy a recruiter already saved into their own pipeline is governed by that employer's retention terms, not ours.
• Job alerts, profile suggestions and product tips (job_alerts_tips) — [PENDING LEGAL] We stop sending the moment you turn this off or use an unsubscribe link. The fact that you opted out is kept for as long as your account exists, because it is the only proof that we stopped.
• Sharing a campus shortlist outside its own drive (shortlist_sharing_beyond_drive) — [PENDING LEGAL] A shortlist that has already left the platform cannot be recalled; turning this off stops any further sharing from that moment.
• Placement records kept past a student's graduation year (alumni_record_retention) — [PENDING LEGAL] Off: drive rosters, shortlist memberships and placement outcomes are anonymised once the drive's retention window ends. On: kept until the alumni window ends, then anonymised. Neither setting touches a student's own account, which is the student's.
• Feature announcements, pricing news and offers (product_updates_marketing) — [PENDING LEGAL] We stop sending the moment you turn this off. The record that you opted out is kept for as long as your account exists.

When you delete your account

[PENDING LEGAL] We erase your data from our live systems and confirm it to you within 30 days of your request. Encrypted backups are the one exception: they roll off on a fixed 30-day cycle and are never restored selectively, so a deleted account cannot reappear from one. We keep a hashed, non-identifying tombstone of the request itself so that we can prove the erasure ran and so that a backup restore cannot silently reinstate you.

What survives a deletion, and why

A small number of records outlive the account on purpose, and none of them can be used to identify you: the fact that an application existed (with your identity removed) so the employer's own hiring record stays honest; security and audit logs we are required to keep; a suppression record of an unsubscribe or a do-not-contact request, which exists only so we can prove we stopped contacting you.

Indian data protection law gives you rights over your own data. This section says where each one lives in the product, so that a right is a button and not a letter you hope somebody reads.

Access — get a copy of your data

Signed in: Settings → Privacy & consent → Download my data. The file is generated on the spot and contains your profile, your documents, your applications and your full consent history. Without access to the account: use the public form at /privacy/my-data and we will verify the email address before we send anything.

Correct — fix something that is wrong

Most fields are editable directly in your profile. Where a value is locked (a verified date of birth, for instance) use Settings → Privacy & consent → Request a correction, or /privacy/my-data if you cannot sign in.

Withdraw — take back a consent

Settings → Privacy & consent lists every optional purpose you have agreed to, with the date you agreed. Turning one off takes effect immediately and is as easy as turning it on. Withdrawing an optional consent never closes your account; it stops the processing that consent justified. The consent required to run the account itself cannot be withdrawn while the account exists — deleting the account is how you withdraw it.

Erase — delete your account

Settings → Privacy & consent → Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm, and we email a confirmation with a reference to the address on the account. If you cannot sign in, submit a deletion request at /privacy/my-data.

Nominate someone

[PENDING LEGAL] You may nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated. Write to the Grievance Officer below to record a nomination.

The two windows we publish

We answer a data request — access, correction, withdrawal or erasure — within 30 days of receiving it. We dispose of a grievance or complaint within 15 days, which is the shorter statutory window for an intermediary. Both clocks start when we receive the request, not when we get to it, and every request is given a reference so you can chase it.

If we do not satisfy you

You may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Doing so does not require our permission and does not affect anything else about your account.

We ask for your date of birth once, when you first sign in, and we use it for exactly one thing: to confirm that you are 18 or older. LaunchBae is an adults-only platform and does not knowingly process a child's data, so this check has to happen before an account exists rather than after.

Your date of birth is not shown to employers, is not part of your public profile, is not used to rank or match you, and is not used for advertising. Once it is verified it is locked — neither you nor we can quietly change it — because a birth date that can be edited is not an age check.

If the date you give us shows that you are under 18 we do not create an account, we do not send a one-time passcode, and we do not keep your email address. All that is recorded is an irreversible hash of the address and the time, so that the same address cannot simply retry with a different answer.

What the AI writes

Parts of this product generate text for you: resume bullets and tailored resumes, cover letters and application answers, job descriptions, interview questions, summaries of a candidate or a conversation, and the assistant's replies. All of it is drafted by a large language model and every surface that shows it carries the label 'Written by AI. Check it before you rely on it.' It can be wrong, it can be confidently wrong, and it is yours to check before you send it anywhere.

Where AI is used on decisions

We use AI to parse resumes, to score how well a profile matches a role, to rank search results and to summarise screening interviews. These outputs are inputs to a person's decision. LaunchBae does not auto-reject, and no candidate is removed from a process by a model alone.

The decision is the employer's

The employer or institution using LaunchBae decides who to shortlist, interview, reject or hire. We are not that employer and we do not make that decision. If you want to know why a particular employer decided as it did, or you want a human to look at it again, ask that employer — and tell us too, through the Grievance Officer below, if you believe our tooling misrepresented you.

Your data and the models

[PENDING LEGAL] We use third-party model providers to run these features. Your content is sent to them to produce the output you asked for and is not used by us, or by them under our agreements, to train general-purpose models.

Not every job on LaunchBae was posted by the employer through LaunchBae. Some are collected from publicly available listings so that the search is worth using on the day you arrive. Every one of those carries a visible note on the job page saying where it came from.

We do not control an externally sourced listing. It may be out of date, already filled, or worded by somebody we have never spoken to, and we do not verify the employer behind it the way we verify an employer who registers with us. Applying to one usually sends you to that employer's own site, at which point their privacy policy governs what happens to what you type there — not this one.

Tell us about a listing that is fraudulent, discriminatory or misleading and we will take it down. Our standards for what may be posted are in the Acceptable Use & Job Posting Policy.

LaunchBae is available only to people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect or process the personal data of a child, and we do not do any tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising of children. There is no such thing as an account opened on a child's behalf here: nobody may create an account for another individual.

We enforce this at the door rather than by asking politely. Every candidate must confirm a date of birth before an account is created, as described above. A campus or institution uploading a student roster must attest, per upload, that every person in that file is 18 or older.

If you believe an account belongs to someone under 18, write to the Grievance Officer below. We will suspend it while we check, and erase the data if the account should not exist.

Users creating accounts on the Platform and/or Website may, subject to the Terms and Conditions of Use and this Policy, edit their profiles and make necessary modification. Users are solely responsible and liable for the Information provided by them.

Cookies are pieces of text used to store information on web browsers. Cookies are used to store and receive identifiers and other information on computers, phones and other devices. We store Your web browser or device identifiers associated with Your device and may use other software for similar purposes.

The Platform and/or Website use cookies to store certain data (that is not sensitive Information) that is used to provide customized information when the Users or non-registered users return to the Website and/or Platform. Cookies are used to store Users or non-registered user preferences and to track their preferences and trends, so as to enhance their interactive experience and generally improve the Platform and/or Website services to them. In the course of serving advertisements or optimizing services to its Users, the Company or authorized third parties, may rely on such cookies, for analytical and statistical purposes and to place or recognize a unique cookie on the Users or non-registered users' browser. The Cookies however do not store any Personal Information of the Users.

If any User creates an account on this Platform and/or Website for or on behalf of any third party like their family members, friends, such User acknowledges that they are duly authorized by such third party to create an account on the Platform and/or Website by furnishing such other details as may be required for availing the services of the Platform and/or Website. In the event a User creates an account on behalf of a minor, such User acknowledges that he/she is lawfully authorized to do so and that the Company shall in no case, be held responsible/liable for any claims arising from any action in this regard. The Company recommends that minors, as stipulated under relevant law, avoid being Users of the Platform and/or the Website.

With a view to provide better services, the Company may constantly communicate with the Users regarding its products and/or services. Should the Users do not wish to receive such communication, they may unsubscribe from such communication, as per the procedure set out in such communication.

For availing certain services and/or products as provided by the Company, the Users may be required to purchase/subscribe to such services by entering requisite payment details. For making such payments, the Users may be redirected to a third party payment gateway service, which will facilitate such payment and capture the payment details. Users are therefore advised to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of such third party service providers before making any payment. For the purpose of this section, it is clarified that neither the Company nor the Platform and/or the Website collect sensitive personal or security related information like passwords, card numbers, bank account numbers, etc., which are totally under the custody and encryption of the third party payment gateway service providers. Users hereby acknowledge that the third party payment gateway service providers are not under the control, direction or supervision of the Company and that the Company expressly disclaims any and all liabilities associated therewith. Users are advised to consider this aspect while providing any information to such third parties.

Registered Users will have access to the Platform and/or Website, subject to the terms and conditions stated in this Policy.

The Company may provide the services contemplated under this Platform and/or Website directly on its own or through third party service providers. The Platform and/or Website may contain links of such third party service providers and their digital platforms. The Company shall not, for any reason, be responsible or liable to the Users for the content, terms of use and privacy policy of such third party service providers.

The Users should note that such third party service providers are not acting under the direction, supervision or control of the Company and as such the Company expressly disclaims any and all liabilities associated therewith. The Users are advised to carefully read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of such third party service providers/websites as accessing such third party digital platforms is at the sole risk of the Users. The Users may also note that the third party digital platforms may collect various types of digital information of the Users and their behavioral patterns. The Users are to note that the Company does not monitor or have any control over the affairs of such third party websites or the contents therein.

To protect the privacy and security of the Information of the Users, the Company takes certain steps to verify User content before granting them access to accounts or before the Users edit their Information. Users are advised to maintain strong passwords to help ensure the security of their accounts.

The Company implements high standard security measures to protect User Information from and against unauthorized access. To this effect, the Company uses certain physical, managerial, technical and operational safeguards as per industry standards and established best practices to protect the Information provided to and/or collected by the Company.

Notwithstanding the above stated, Users are to note that no online platform can fully eliminate the security risks. The Company takes all reasonable measures to protect the data, security, confidentiality and integrity of the User Information from unauthorized access. Users should however note that the Internet, through which the Platform and/or Website are hosted, is not a completely secure environment and therefore the Company does not warrant hundred percent (100%) security to the User Information.

Force Majeure

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Policy or otherwise, the Company shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of the User Information if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to a Force Majeure event. A force majeure event means any event that is beyond the control of the Company and includes, without limit events like fire, floods, acts of God, pandemics, civil commotions, strikes, lockouts or industrial action of any kind, riots, war, acts of government, power failure, sabotage, computer hacking, unauthorized access to computer data and storage devices, system failure, virus attacks, computer crashes and breach of security and encryption etc.

This Policy complements and is to be read in conjunction with and deemed to be a part of the Platform and/or Website Terms and Conditions of Use.

Information of the Users resides in the Company's database for a certain period of time for technical reasons or to satisfy the requirements of applicable law, even after the Users cease to use or access or exit the Platform and/or Website. In such cases, the Company is not liable for any usage of the User Information after the User ceases to use, access the Platform and/or Website or exits them.

The Users should note that the Information or other data, that the User provides at the Platform and/or Website for availing the services or transacting through them could be read, collected or used by other users or third parties in which case such User Information might be used for sending unsolicited messages or communications by such third parties, for which the Company is not responsible.

The User agrees and acknowledges the Company's right to utilize the User's posts, content, Information and other personal data for the purpose of providing services through the Platform and/or Website. The contents on the Platform and/or Website may contain comments, posts or reviews posted by Users which may be public and searchable on the Internet in which case User's comments, posts, reviews and Information and personal data provided to the Platform and/or Website may be viewed by other users and the Company cannot guarantee that other users or third parties have not made copies of or used the ideas or Information that the User shared on the Platform and/or Website.

If Users unsubscribe from the services offered through the Platform and/or Website and thereafter intend to subscribe to the services, they are authorizing the Company to send such Information as may be required, including but not limited to SMS, emails for enabling the Users to continue to avail the services. Users thereby explicitly consent and agree that any request pursuant to this section will override any opt-out/unsubscribe request given by them earlier.

Indian law requires us to publish the name and contact details of a person you can take a complaint to, and to answer within a stated time. This is that person. They are the same human named in the consent notice you saw when you signed up and in every email we send about your data, so there is never a second address to guess between.

What to include

The email address on your LaunchBae account, what happened, and what you want us to do. If your complaint is about a specific request you already made, quote the reference we gave you — every data request gets one, and it is the fastest way to the right file.

How quickly we come back

We dispose of a grievance within 15 days of receiving it, and we answer a data request — access, correction, withdrawal or erasure — within 30 days. We acknowledge sooner than that; the windows are the outer limit, not the target.

If you are still not satisfied

You may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. You do not need our agreement to do so, and doing so has no effect on your account.

This Policy shall be interpreted and construed in accordance with the Indian law and the relevant courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any disputes or claims, arising under or related to this Policy.
