1. Introduction

Welcome to LaunchBae ("Platform"), the mobile application and digital platform operated by Aiden AI Private Limited ("Company", "We", "Our", "Us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, Website (www.aidenai.com), and all related services provided by the Company.

By accessing, registering on, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

The Platform is available to natural persons and legal entities who are competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 or the applicable law of their jurisdiction. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or otherwise use the Platform.

We ask for your date of birth once, when you first sign in, and use it only to confirm that you are 18 or older. It is never shown to employers. Nobody may open or hold an account on behalf of another individual, and an account may not be opened for a person under 18 under any circumstances. An organisation account is opened by an authorised representative acting for that organisation, which is a different thing from acting for another person.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and erase the data we hold, and we may refuse further sign-ups from the same details. An institution uploading a roster of students must attest, for each upload, that everyone in that file is 18 or older.

3. User Accounts

Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information including your name, email address, phone number and other required details. You agree to keep this information updated.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Types

The Platform supports different user types including Students/Job Seekers, Employers/Companies, Campus Recruiters and Educational Institutions. Each user type has specific features, permissions and obligations.

4. Platform Services

The Company provides the following services through the Platform:

  • Internship and job matching between students/job seekers and employers
  • AI-powered resume parsing and candidate screening
  • Skill assessment and evaluation tools
  • Interview scheduling and management
  • Company and candidate profile management
  • Communication tools between employers and candidates
  • Offer letter generation and management

The Company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with or without notice.

5. Acceptable Use

Permitted Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall use the Platform for its intended purpose of seeking employment, hiring, or educational/recruitment activities.

Prohibited Activities

You shall not:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information

6. Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit including resumes, profiles, and other materials. By submitting content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Platform services.

Our Intellectual Property

All Platform code, design, AI algorithms, trademarks, logos, and proprietary technology are owned by the Company and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any of our intellectual property without prior written consent.

7. AI-Powered Features

The Platform uses Artificial Intelligence for various features including resume parsing, candidate screening, skill assessments, and job matching. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated results are provided as assistance tools and should not be considered as the sole basis for hiring decisions.

By using AI-powered features, you consent to the processing of your data by AI systems as described in our Privacy Policy. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs.

8. We are not the employer, and the AI does not decide

We are not the employer

LaunchBae is a platform on which employers, institutions and candidates find each other. We are not the employer, the recruiter of record, an employment agency, or a party to any contract of employment, internship or engagement that results from using it. We do not decide who is shortlisted, interviewed, rejected or hired, we do not set pay or terms, and we do not guarantee that any job exists, remains open, or is what its posting says it is.

AI assists; a person decides

The Platform uses AI to parse resumes, score how well a profile matches a role, rank search results, draft text and summarise screening interviews. Every one of those outputs is an input to a decision made by a person at the employer or institution. LaunchBae does not automatically reject anyone, and no candidate is removed from a process by a model alone. AI output can be wrong, and it is offered as assistance, never as a finding of fact about a person.

If you use the AI, you own what you send

Text this Platform drafts for you — a resume, a cover letter, an answer, a job description, an interview question — is labelled as AI-drafted, and it is yours to review before you rely on it or send it to anyone. You remain responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit, and an employer remains responsible for the lawfulness of the decision it makes.

Ask a human

If you believe an AI-assisted output misrepresented you, tell us through the Grievance Officer named in the Privacy Policy and we will look at it. If you want to know why a particular employer decided as it did, that question belongs to the employer.

9. If you are a candidate

What you tell us has to be true

Your profile, resume, education, work history and assessment answers must describe you accurately. Fabricating experience, submitting somebody else's work as your own, or having another person sit an assessment or interview for you is a breach of these Terms and grounds for closing the account. Where an assessment is proctored, the proctoring is described to you before it starts.

Visibility is your choice

Being findable by recruiters who are searching — rather than only by the employers you actually apply to — is switched on when you first accept our terms, and you can turn it off on that same screen or at any time in Settings → Privacy & consent. Turning it off removes you from recruiter search immediately. A copy an employer had already saved into their own system is theirs to keep or delete under their own terms; we cannot reach into it, and we say so plainly rather than promise otherwise.

Applying sends your data to the employer

When you apply, your profile and documents go to that employer, and from that point they are a data fiduciary in their own right for what they do with them. That is the point of applying, and it is not something we can undo on your behalf afterwards.

Free to use, and free to leave

A candidate account costs nothing to hold. Paid features, where they exist, are optional and are described before you buy them. You can delete the account at any time from Settings → Privacy & consent, without asking us and without giving a reason.

10. If you are an employer or recruiter

You are responsible for the candidate data you receive

When candidate data reaches your organisation through LaunchBae — an application, a search result you saved, an export you took — your organisation determines what happens to it next, and is responsible under applicable data protection law for that processing. Use it for the role you collected it for; do not resell it, do not add it to an unrelated marketing list, and do not keep it longer than you have a reason to. Our processing of it on your behalf is governed by your agreement with us, not by a candidate's individual consent to us.

What you may post

Every listing must be a real, currently open opportunity at a named organisation you are authorised to recruit for, with accurate compensation and location. No fees may be charged to candidates. Postings must not discriminate on grounds protected by law, must not be used to collect data for another purpose, and must not be bait for a training programme, an unpaid trial, or a product you want to sell. The full standard is the Acceptable Use & Job Posting Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The hiring decision is yours

Scores, rankings, screening summaries and AI-drafted material are decision support. You decide, you are accountable for the decision, and you are responsible for keeping whatever record of it your own obligations require. Do not represent to a candidate that LaunchBae rejected them.

Seats, access and offboarding

Access is licensed per named person and may not be shared. You are responsible for removing people from your organisation's account when they leave; their access ends when you remove it, not when they stop working for you.

11. If you are a campus or institution

Uploading a roster is a statement you are making

Before you upload or add students, you confirm two things for that upload: that your institution has given those students notice that their details are being placed on LaunchBae for placement purposes and has the authority to do so, and that every person in the file is 18 or older. We record both confirmations against the upload. Do not upload a roster you cannot honestly make those statements about.

The student's account is the student's

Your placement records are yours. A student's own LaunchBae account is not: they hold it, they control their profile and their visibility, they can withdraw a consent or delete the account, and none of that is yours to override, undo or exercise for them. If a student asks you to delete their data, the parts that live in your placement records are yours to remove; the account itself is theirs, and the right place to send them is Settings → Privacy & consent.

Shortlists stay inside their drive

A shortlist is built for a drive and stays inside it. Sharing a shortlist or a student export with a company that was not part of that drive is off unless your institution turns it on, and a shortlist that has already left the platform cannot be recalled. Turn it on knowing that.

How long placement records live

Drive rosters, shortlist memberships and placement outcomes are anonymised once their retention window ends, unless your institution has chosen to keep alumni placement records for reporting. Either way the sweep never touches a student's own account.

12. Payment & Subscriptions

Certain features or services may require payment. All payments are processed through third-party payment gateway services. The Company does not directly collect or store payment card information.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance as per the selected plan. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Company's refund policy.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Platform and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Company does not guarantee job placements, hiring outcomes, or the accuracy of information provided by other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Platform.

The Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the Company in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

14. Termination

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate any User account that violates these Terms, engages in prohibited activities, or is otherwise deemed detrimental to the Platform or its users, with or without prior notice.

You may delete your account at any time through the Platform settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Certain provisions of these Terms shall survive termination.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

16. Changes to Terms

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or Platform notifications. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any disputes through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
